Chinese New Year Song Links

Here are two links to songs we have been practicing in class. The videos might be a little weird, but the kids love to practice along with it.

The above song is about the 12 Zodiacs (or 12 animals that the Chinese assign to each year).

Below is the song we sang a while back about the Chinese New Year.
Hope they (and you) enjoy them!

And here is a video of the vocabulary we will be learning with a voiceover of how to say it. Happy New Year!!

Chinese New Year Song

The past week we have been working on learning a song for Chinese New Year. This song is about celebrating the New Year. It also talks about receiving red envelopes from family members, getting new clothes/hat, and wishing your friends a happy New Year. Enjoy!

I'm sure your kids would also love to see this video and practice along with it at home! :)
